Ameliorer la qualite de l’education conformement aux objectifs de l’Education Pour Tous et a ceux du Millenaire pour le Developpement, l’objectif du projet etant de contribuer a cet effort en ameliorant les capacites techniques et manageriales des inspecteurs par des formations ciblees. Renforcer les capacites des inspecteurs de l’Enseignement primaire, secondaire et professionnel afin qu’ils puissent mieux assurer les taches d’encadrement et de controle inspectoral.

Kyrgyzstan
Education staff in countries of the former Soviet Union typically have had minimal exposure to other approaches to education that are perhaps more innovative and effective. Many view their education system is quite satisfactory as it is. At the same time, they feel the need to align their education systems more closely with those of other countries. To help overcome this lack of exposure, short external training programs and longer overseas degree programs can be provided.
Within the framework of Project implementation the following shall be developed: new 11 or 12-year curriculum, and new textbooks and learning materials developed for grades 1–11 or 12, and textbooks for grade 1 delivered; new formative and summative classroom assessment systems developed; certificate program in education assessment created; public support raised for the new curriculum and assessment, and inclusive education.
Armenia
The goal of the EQ&R Project is to support the Government reforms in general education. More specifically the project has the dual aim of raising the quality of education and ensuring its relevance to the new economy and knowledge society needs along with carrying forward reforms to improve the efficiency of the education system. The Education Quality and Relevance Project covers issues such as establishment of a new National Curriculum and Assessment System, development and integration of ICT in schools, teacher professional development, system management and efficiency. Part of these reforms is improving teaching methodology and teaching/learning atmosphere in classroom.
